Fauldhouse footers
The local walking group, Fauldhouse Footers, was established in April 2009, with support from Rachel Sedman, Development Worker, and partner agencies, including the Put Your West Foot Forward local initiative.
Walks are held weekly, on Thursdays, meeting at 10am at the Fauldhouse Partnerhsip Centre, on Lanrigg Road behind Scotmid. Walks are moderate and suit most abilities. There are around 7 to 10 walkers attending normally.
The group also takes part in the annual walking programme supported by West Lothian Council and NHS Lothian.
The recent Living Streets Consultation was held in 2010 to look at walking in and around the village. Many issues were raised about the state of pathways and much more. The full write-up is available on request from: info@fauldhouse.org.uk.

Living Streets have been liaising with West Lothian Council officers to take forward issues raised and some public realm improvements have already been made. So well done to everyone involved.
